Hotel David in the Oltrarno neighborhood is a true gem in Florence. the location is ideal, just a short distance from the city center and major attractions like Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. the charm of this manor house turned boutique hotel is truly captivating. the staff's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay unforgettable. the rooms are elegantly decorated with carefully selected furnishings that exude a sense of Italian heritage and luxury. the air conditioning and free minibar were thoughtful touches that added to our comfort. the daily happy hour with complimentary drinks and snacks was a delightful way to unwind after a day of exploring Florence. the hotel's amenities, including free parking and a buffet breakfast filled with fresh fruit and pastries, were much appreciated. the free internet access and computer with a printer made it convenient to plan our day trips and print tickets. the proximity to the bus stop linking to the city center was also a plus for exploring the area. Our evenings were spent enjoying the romantic living room ambiance with a fireplace, adding a cozy touch to our stay. the hotel's historical significance as a former summer residence of a Tuscan family added to the overall charm and allure of the place.
